What can I filter?
The current map offers the categories below. Leave a filter blank to keep it open. Records and coverage vary by area; filtering does not guarantee a household needs your service or will respond.
| Category | Available filters |
|---|---|
| Basics | Property type, Occupancy, Has a pool |
| Property details | Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Units, Year built, Property value ($), Equity ($), Loan-to-value ratio (%), Home size (sq. ft.), Basement size (sq. ft.), Lot size, Has heating, Has air conditioning, Has a fireplace |
| Sale history | Last sale price ($), Last sale date |
| Mortgage | Combined mortgage amount ($), First mortgage amount ($), Second mortgage amount ($), Mortgage interest rate (%), Interest rate type, Mortgage recording date, Mortgage type, Seller is also the lender |
| Ownership | Trustee owner, Vacant property |
| Household | Household age, Gender, Household income, Marital status, Length of residence, People in household, Adults in household, Children in household |
| List preferences | Limit to ZIP codes |
Property types you can choose
Common choices include single-family homes, condos, duplexes/triplexes/fourplexes, apartments, mobile homes, commercial properties, retail, and office buildings. Occupancy and pool information can further refine the selection.
Use only filters appropriate to your campaign. Housing, credit, and other regulated offers need particular care; the availability of a filter is not permission to use it for every purpose.
Three practical ways to plan an audience
- Pool service: choose your service area and the Has a pool filter, then review the available count. Property records do not establish pool condition.
- Cleaning or painting: choose a practical radius and relevant property types. Keep the message focused on an invitation to request a quote.
- Retail or restaurants: introduce your business to a nearby geographic area and make the location and next step clear.
Keep your audience useful, not just narrow
Start with the area and one or two filters that matter to the service. Adding filters can reduce the available count quickly. If the audience becomes too small, reconsider the radius or remove a restriction that is not essential.
The map count is for planning. Final mailing eligibility is checked before the order, so the eligible audience can differ. You can adjust the quantity before confirming the campaign.
What does a map audience cost?
Map targeting is a Prime feature. Custom audience data costs $0.10 per eligible mailing record, per campaign use, in addition to postcards and the Prime subscription. At standard rates, 500 eligible map recipients add $50 in audience data and $500 in postcards, before the monthly plan and taxes.
