9 inches6 inches01 / Size and bleed
We currently offer landscape 6 × 9 postcards. Build your artwork slightly larger than the finished card so backgrounds reach the trimmed edges.
| Finished size | 9 inches wide × 6 inches high |
|---|---|
| Artwork including bleed | 9.25 × 6.25 inches |
| Bleed | 0.125 inches on every edge |
| Safe area | 8.75 × 5.75 inches, centered |
| Full artwork at 300 DPI | 2775 × 1875 pixels |
Extend backgrounds and edge-to-edge images to the outside bleed edge. Keep important text and logos at least 0.125 inches inside the finished edge.
02 / Images and PDF uploads
- Use images at 300 DPI or higher at their final placed size.
- Export separate front and back PDFs, with one page per file.
- Use landscape pages at 9.25 × 6.25 inches, without page rotation.
- Embed fonts. Keep each PDF within the current 5 MB upload limit.
- Remove crop marks, guide lines, and template instructions.
Making a small image larger or changing its DPI setting will not recover missing detail. Review the original at the size it will print. Printed color can differ from your screen.
03 / Reserve the postage indicia area
On the back, leave a white, ink-free rectangle 4 inches wide × 2.375 inches high. Position it 0.275 inches from the right edge and 0.25 inches from the bottom edge of the artwork including bleed.
Pink is a preview guide only. The area must be white and blank in uploaded artwork.
This reserved area accommodates recipient delivery details and postal markings. Keep promotional content outside it. Recipient-specific personal information belongs only in the reserved mailing area. Avoid promotional street addresses in the bottom 2.375 inches of the front.
04 / Before you approve
- Confirm spelling, phone numbers, web addresses, dates, and offer terms.
- Check both sides, image quality, safe margins, and the blank mailing area.
- Test any QR code on a print at actual size.
- Check that your artwork uses images, fonts, and logos you have permission to use.
